Great Wall Motors website


Fuse Digital designed and developed the Great Wall Motors websites launched in Australia in June 2009 and in New Zealand in July 2009. The brief was to develop an easy to use website focusing on Great Wall vehicles, allowing users to understand and interact with the Great Wall brand, and drive consumer enquiries to dealerships.

Our solution

Fuse Digital developed the user interface and information structure to make the website very easy to use and navigate around. Available Great Wall models are highlighted to give focus to the vehicles. Calls to action are clear and simple to encourage users to interact with the site and make it easy for users to 'find a dealer', view brochures and TV ads, and 'book a test drive'. The website utilises a custom built Dealer Locator, which enables users to easily find a dealer via their postcode.

The 'Great Models' section enables users to view 360 degrees of the exterior, 360 degrees of the interior (with ability to zoom in and out), as well as view colours, specifications, images and download brochures and prices.

To enable the client to manage content internally, the website was developed with a supporting and easy to use Content Management System (CMS). The CMS was customised to enable easy localisaton of content for the Australian and New Zealand markets so Australian users will see Australian-based content and New Zealand users will see New Zealand-based content.

The website is also linked to a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system developed by Fuse Digital for GWM. This integration enables GWM to easily generate reports on requests and enquiries received from the website, and monitor online leads sent to the dealerships.
